Hungry Traveler: Your Destination for Fresh Seafood and American Fare in Salisbury

This May Be THE BEST LOBSTER ROLL I've ever had. I expected the two for one special to be sub par. It was so far from it. Two full Lobster Rolls. Not overstuffed, but the perfect ratio of everything. The roll was New England style and buttered and grilled to perfection. One leaf of Romaine Lettuce and covered with fresh soft Lobster Meat. Just the right amount of mayo. It even came with a side of Really Good French Fries, thin and cooked just right. Utter Perfection I am coming back again and again!

We loved it! The food was great but the service was exceptional! It was our first time here and our waitress Tricia was so kind and helpful while offering meal suggestions for my picky kids. She really made our night special! Overall excellent experience.

Went with friends for lunch. The food was fantastic. Fresh and hot. Our server was very friendly and pleasant. She made us feel at home. I gave a three star for atmosphere because the booths needed some repair. Seats were very worn down.

The steak is simple yet deliciously full of flavor. I get it with mashed potatoes which are the perfect side dish for an all American meal at the Hungry Traveler. So this place might not look a lot from the outside but they have fixed up the inside with some beachy design and nice comfortable booths. Meals come with a salad bar and soup. It's a great meal all in all and always a local stand by. It's worth the drive from surrounding towns too. My friend always gets the swordfish which is super fresh and again simple and delicious. Service is friendly and fast. I hope one day they do over the bar area to make it a little more updated. Still great food. Very fresh. The soup and salad bar is great. Update 1/17:25: still holding strong and best value for solid food and portions in the area. Chicken piccata baked haddock with salad and soup bar. Not sure how anyone could complain about the price compared to anything nearby!

My husband and I stopped in for drinks and appetizers, it was early 2:45 and Brooke was our waitress. The French onion soup and Stuffed Mushrooms were very good. We ordered the Prime Rib and the Seafood Casserole to go as it was early in the day. We had it a couple hours later and it was the absolute best Prime Rib I have ever had! We are retired and travel every month, I've never had a Prime Rib that tender it cut like butter. My husband's Seafood Casserole was excellent, the sides were buttery green beans, spaghetti with marinara and squash again very, very good! Brooke was very attentive, and checked in on us to make sure everything was good and checked if we needed anything a couple times. If your looking for a fancy place this may not be for you, but if your looking for an excellent dinner this is your place! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing food with great service! The portions are huge—two people can easily share one plate. This spot is a true hidden gem, perfect for a meal after the beach. Don’t miss their Wednesday and Thursday lobster roll specials—buy one, get one free! Just a heads-up: no swimsuits allowed, so dress properly. Highly recommend stopping here before or after hitting the beach!

My husband and I came to Hampton Beach to go deep sea fishing this weekend. We have been here before and all the restaurants we have eaten at have all been not so good and unreasonably high in prices. This restaurant however was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious. Hubby had prime rib and I had lobster Alfredo. I also had the best tasting Clam Chowder I’ve ever had! Chef’s kiss!!!! Aside from the outstanding food, our waitress Pat was incredibly nice, friendly, funny, and very polite. She will be the number one reason we come back again and of course for the food as well. Also the picture on the wall with the dock leading to the water is the exact painting I have on my bedroom wall. We felt like we were at home! Thanks for a fantastic dinner. It was worth every cent!….and Go Buffalo Bills! Sorry not sorry… lol

My Mom and I love it here after a beach fix. Brooke and Sailor are lovely hosts. It is very relaxed and prices are great. Enjoyed the salad bar today with delicious soups and my mom loved the seafood chowder. Will definitely be back!
